dolphin power

zeb has a serious passion for water animals...for those who do not understand, let me set the stage...

last year we took zeb to the ocean to snorkel for the first time. He couldn't keep his head in long enough, he had to identify each fish he saw and tell the adult he was swimming with...we snorkeled 3 times with him that weekend and we had to drag him back to shore purely due to his blue skin color.

yesterday, zeb and i had a date...we aren't big into taking the kids to movies, but couldn't resist this opportunity. Dolphin Tale is a movie about a dolphin that gets stuck in a crab trap and ends up getting it's tale amputated...a dr. then makes a prosthetic for the dolphin...i won't ruin the movie...(can be seen live at www.seewinter.com).

today, the trains have been transporting a hurt dolphin to the marine wildlife hospital, the trains have transported a new robot tail to the wildlife hospital and had several other marine life adventures today.

oh and did i mention, zeb has planned on our next furlough that we will be going to see winter (the hurt dolphin)...in clearwater florida...24 hours from our house...
