thought it would be fun to list things i like and dislike in the philippines....one day i may look back and laugh

things i like about the philippines

cheap vegetables and tropical fruit
greenhills (cheap shopping area with u.s. over-runs)
amazing international friends
crazy friendly filipinos
skype
cheap fabric
quilting queens as friends!!
free pool membership because jon teachs at faith
scuba diving
potty training the kids

things i dislike

being soooooooo far from family
having only one choice for school for zeb
being soooooooo far from family
bad drivers, walkers, tric drivers and jeepney drivers!
inability to communicate
that at a push of a button we can't look "filipino" and not be taken advantage of
expected that we are loaded and have everything--ok, by their standards we do have everything!
hot season
rainy season--especially if our house floods
hard to eat healthy
missing the autumn beauty in the states
saying goodbyes constantly
