tartuffe and diving

after two weeks of insane work, tartuffe is finally over. people liked it a lot more than i thought they would. it's a comedy, but with a heavier subject matter and long-winded, old-school language. second night of the play a bird got loose in the hall and we didn't catch it until the next night during the show, but that was the most notable distraction from the show. a bunch of the u.p. guys got to come out and see it and it was cool to see them again after so long. working on the play was really enjoyable, but i am so glad it's done.

so now we are on break for a week and i am doing my best to make sure that i don't even think about school work. at this point there are only 4 days of break left, but i'm going to enjoy them. tomorrow morning before the sun we take off to go diving for a few days. i'm still working on my divemaster certification and melissa will be able to dive for the first time since this time last year (you can't dive pregnant).

random other news: faith is building a swimming pool scheduled to be completed in late november. once it's done, at least three of the current firemans have expressed an interest in being baptised. more news on that as it unrolls...

things get rolling again tuesday of next week. more news then.
