running again... and mom's here

our internet and phone are back up and working smoothly. nice. i guess having phone lines stolen from a rich neighborhood gets more attention and a quicker remedy than when they're stolen from the masses.

about 6 hours ago i successfully fetched mor-mor barlow and cousin kristen from the manila airport. since zeb was sick he didn't come along for the ride and mom barlow has yet to see the little fellow. she and kristen had been up for 32 hours when i found them, due to almost two hours of sitting in detroit while they fixed "mostly incidentals for customer comfort." melissa, zeb, mor-mor, and kristen are all still sleeping and i have class now..
