beginning again

school starts on wednesday and once again we are starting new things this year. i still have my Bible electives from last year - discipleship and genesis - for juniors and seniors, but i get to teach in a new room. i also have a new class - yearbook. so for the next ten months, i get to advise the creation of the 2005-2006 tiwalan. i will still be coaching rugby come november, and helping with school productions as the technical advisor.

everyone thinks that melissa is being a stay at home mom full time since she is not teaching. but that's not quite right... starting this month, she is the volunteer coordinator for the children's home near school. that means she gets to make sure all the odd positions at the house are filled and that people who help out at the home know what they are doing. she will also be aiding sarah harris (1st grade) and monette villanueva (tagalog) in their classrooms part time. right now, she is pondering whether or not she will help coach volleyball.

along with that, we are advisors for the senior class, which basically means we get to have fun with them and go on trips for free. ...and we have been known to spend entire days just looking at zeb.
