Fall

The leaves are changing, the apples have been picked and we are wearing jackets all the time now!! Welcome to autumn in Michigan! My excitement last week was letting my parents watch the boys while my dad let me use his leaf blower to move the leaves. It gets even better...the leaves were wet, so they had the most awesome smell to them...can you tell i haven't been around to rake leaves in the past 8 years?

The week before we had a freak warm day--70 degrees--so i packed up the boys after work and took them to pick up grandma. After we had grandma in the car, we brought her to the crans apple orchard in Fremont. man do i miss picking apples and what a fun experience to share with the kids!! they thought it was so cool...keio was even saying papple!! : )

jon has been keeping busy with the boys during the day while i'm at work. yep, you heard it right! i'm a semi-working woman. I was hired in as the para pro (teacher's assistant) at the school that my sister-in-law works at. i'm loving it and realizing how much i miss teaching!! jon has also been keeping busy with seminary classes, most the time spends his sunday nights staying up til midnight to get assignments in.

i'm hoping to be a bit better at this...i just started quilting too, so i hope to post pics of those too!!
