parenting according to marlin

have ya ever watched finding nemo? well, since fish are one of zeb's obsessions, we watch this movie quite frequently. if you haven't ever paid attention to the movie...basically marlin (the dad clown fish) is afraid to let nemo do anything for several reasons, but the biggest reason is marlin is just afraid to let go. however, by the end of the movie, marlin has traveled across the sea, encountered many obstacles, BUT learns to let go bit and let nemo live and learn.

yes, i am going to compare my parenting to marlin's....i guess what i'm saying is i hope that i am not a fun sucker! i hope that i so let my kids have some fun while learning those hard lessons in life!!

all that said, i'm going to head off to preschool (parent run) and enter the world of many parenting styles and much stress for me...but while i'm there i need to encourage my kids to obey and have FUN!! : ) and mor mor, pops, grandpa and grandma i'll try to get video of jai swimming!!
