G-Rap

in the words of my brother and his wife's friends we are here in G-Rap. a.k.a. Grand Rapids, Michigan. we have tried to settle into a routine this past week, much easier said than done. zeb wants to go back to the lake house because there are "cousins" or zeb's favorite person Johnny (jon's cousin). jai loves where we are living and keio i think is impartial.

jon will be a stay-at-home dad til he goes crazy...he may try to get a job at t a scuba shop..i personally think that his brain will explode from complete boredum..

zeb starts preschool at Potter's House on sept. 8...we are excited to see how he does...he is already reading at 1st grade level, so we are hoping that he gets better at the whole socializing with others : ). he could care or less about kids his own age and prefers the older kids.

jai has decided that trains are cool, hitting his brother at least buys him a couple minutes with his toys before a time out and singing on long trips passes the time, but drives his parents crazy.

keio is almost walking, that said i don't mind that he is still on all fours. he has quite a list of words in his vocabulary that only mum and dad can understand and he loves the outdoors, even though it is only 55 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will start coaching volleyball and substitute teaching once school starts. i'm not sure how i feel about that after not working for the past 4 years, but we'll see how it goes.

  • Something tells me that your kid Jai and I would get along well. :P I can't believe Zeb is reading at a 1st grade level! Well, I guess I can, in a way. But wow! Smart boy. :)
