preaching?

this is a new one for me... the children's home runs a church on sunday mornings. it's a small group: the kids and workers from the home, some school people, and a few filipinos from the community by the house. pastor joe is on a trip down south this week playing basketball and talking about Jesus. no problem - he got someone to fill in for him. problem - his replacement went to china and ate a pigeon and is now laid out with a 103 degree fever (asian bird flu has reached epidemic levels).

so here i am preparing a sermon to give tomorrow. it's a very weird feeling, this preaching thing. i don't know why it's so different in my mind from teaching Bible classes. for the past two years, i've been giving about 8 sermons a week to high school students, but talking to grown-ups from behind a little pulpit wigs me out.
