task force baby

on the evening of the 30th, zeb had his second set of visitors (sarah harris and joy kim proctor had been there all night during labor and birth and were the first of the extended family to greet little zeb.). andrew and daniel, the other two thirds of task force alpha, and the two i had been with during the first part of labor, came to the hospital. they were very excited to see the wee one, but were most hesitant to actually touch him, let alone pick him up.

after about half an hour, andrew agreed to hold zeb. he picked him up and held him for about 20 seconds before he was satisfied and put zeb back on the bed. not wanting to be shown up by andrew, daniel goes to the bed and lifts zeb into his arms. andrew, melissa, and i were talking and not paying too much attention to daniel when he gave a little start and hastily put zeb back on the bed. we all looked over and wondered what was wrong. said daniel, "it moved." we were amused.
