Easter Egg Hunt 2010

about 5 days before Easter Sunday i asked jon if his mum would be sending easter loot to michigan (she's sent candy every year since jon and i have been married). my reasoning was that if his mum didn't provide the loot, then i would have to go out and get the goods cuz my parents WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT!!!


(two hours later) i checked my voicemail only to hear that my father wanted to do an easter egg hunt with our boys!! my parents had never ever done any easter egg hunts with us when we were kids, so i had to eat my words.


fast forward to easter sunday. the boys were notified the order of events, but proceeded to finish their dinners and question us if it was time yet...now...now...now... dinner plates cleaned and 20 minutes later the boys were running in the backyard hunting eggs...my favorite memory... jai finding his eggs and in his excitement of finding another easter egg he "threw" it in his basket, but every time he shot for the basket he missed...keio's basket was so big that he had to drag it behind him...

the memories again that grandpa and grandma created...what a blessing...

p.s. jai is happy that jesus is alive and that he came out of a rock....zeb says another word for alive is risen...GO ZEB!!
