the land of the dreary...

i think i can safely say, day 10 of rain...i'm not sure what's worse...seattle or the tropics during rainy season. needless to say it has put quite a damper on our pool outings lately. this pregnant lady isn't going to complain though, the nights have been pleasant and the days not quite so intolerable!

zeb has decided it's a good day for a nap, so he is all curled up on the pillow. jai has decided it's a better day to play, so he is currently playing in his crib until he gets mad that we aren't taking him out... our british friends, the taylors, came to play this morning for a couple hours. it really is quite a delightful time...they have rose, 4, joshua, 3, and naomi 21 months. jai and zeb think they are great fun and they get on really well, so it makes for a nice down time for debs and i. we usually end up talking quilting or about the kids...a much needed adult social hour for me! her husband is gone on an adminstration meeting, so we will actually take the kids out to mc do playland later this afternoon.

my goal, and i will post when i finish them, is to finish all my projects around the house before i am allowed to begin a new one...so i am currently finishing three presents for people...we'll see how long it takes to finish and send out...it would be great if i could send with someone going home for the summer, but we'll see how motivated i am. i have also had the goal of getting the house super cleaned out before this baby comes, i think that will have to wait til daddy is home for the summer.

speaking of daddy, i wonder what he will do to keep himself occupied this summer? up until #3 arrives that is...
