journey of joy

details, details...

saturday morning was quilting day...yes, i'm hooked on the hobby of making quilts. actually, i think i get inspired like once a month and i haul out all my unfinished projects to work on...( i am my mother's daughter!!)..so saturday, my friend debs arranged to use the machines at school and a couple newbies came to learn how to quilt while the rest of us worked on things that had been around for week, months and maybe even years. jon and the boys held down the fort.

jai has decided it is not worth getting one tooth at a time, so he is workin on molars (top and bottom) and the ones next to the front ( i can't quite recall the official term for those wonderful teeth). zeb and him are warriors, both don't complain much when teeth come...they just eat much less! zeb has decided he knows every word in the dictionary and is just spouting out words left and right. most of the words we understand, but there are a few he is still working on exact way of how to pronounce it.

jon's life is settling down...well everything but the yearbook and he's turning 31 at the end of the week. he will spend his day off at school with his yearbook class, while the rest of faith academy and the philippines are enjoying a holiday. i do believe there will be some overnighters later in march to make sure deadlines are me too.

praise the Lord!! one of the ladies that i work with at the clinic gave birth on wednesday to a healthy baby boy. she will be away from the clinic for some time, but we will try to hold down the fort...i may have to practice my tagalog and do vitals, but i think i can handle it. we are also waiting on a shipment that north shore middle school collected or medicines and clothes for the clinic. dad says the shipment should go out the end of the month. please pray it makes it here in one piece!

i started meeting for bible study with a girl from school. she is amazingly knowledgeable, but will admit that she lacks on the personal application to her life. we are just trying to establish some routines for her life as well as life lessons from ruth. i'm starting my 19th week sometime this week and feeling great!!
