sleepless in manila

i've made it through the beloved first trimester of baby three...but i must say, it's been far more brutal than the first two! i'm not sure if it's the getting up at 4:50 (zeb's getting up time), chasing after two (with ate rose's help), or if i'm just old and falling apart..ha, ha. my friend and former student is having her second baby in seven weeks and has kept a picture journal of it on facebook, i'm going to try to follow in her footsteps (so hold me accountable if i miss a week! ). as for a girl or boy, we will not find out til the end of februaryish...

selfish me. i have been so tired lately, i thought let's change zeb's bed time and put him to bed an hour later and he'll wake up an hour later. BIG MISTAKE!! HUGE!! he currently is getting up at roughly 12:30, 4:30 and for the final time 6:30...so instead of getting a much needed hour sleep before...i'm lacking on a full nights sleep!!!

jon has been quite busy this semester...he started off with a four day trip to Kuala Lumpur, followed by this past friday's yearbook all nighter (which he was sick again, for the second year in the running), and next week he will spend with middle schoolers introducing them to scuba diving for outdoor education!! he is teaching two new classes and taking a class, so needless to say he's workin overtime and loving it for the most part (i think).

as for me and the littler boys... zeb has come to know and enjoy veggie tales, not as much as trains, but they are cute videos. jai, with ate rose's help, is starting to enjoy walking..maybe he will walk sooner than we think. ate rose is still working hard and is hilarious..l was baking cookies the other day and she said to me, "i will finish, you make them too hard!" guess i'm not the martha stewart i thought i was. : ) as for me since November, i've learned how to make fabric bowls, successfully avoid cleaning the house and battle with the ever present boredom... you can pray for contentment on my part!!
