jai is an american citizen

due to jon dewey (mel's brother) falling madly in love with sarah may(mel's soon to be sister-in-law), jai and i have to make a quick trip to the states the first week of july. In most countries this would be an easy task, but for some reason here in the Philippines, we always run into a snag...

for zeb's passport two years ago, we needed a marriage certificate, no problem...wrong! In the Philippines, important documents need to be printed on special paper... to make a long story short, we waited three weeks for the special paper and got zeb's passport.

for jai's passport three weeks ago, we needed a marriage certificate,no problem...I thought ahead last time and got five copies and put them in an important location. Problem: I have no clue where that important location is... with no days to really spare
( our tickets are for the 1st) I headed back to the city hall to get the marriage certificates... God placed the right lady at the window, she said give me this amount of money and come back same time tomorrow... Praise the Lord the special paper with our marriage certificate was handed to us that very next day. The embassy called two days ago and notified us that our appt. would be for the 26th of june, jon quickly interjected that we had tickets for the 1st, so today we swore we didn't get jai off the black market, and the passport will be ours in 7-14 business days..GOD IS GOOD!
