jai thalen barlow
well, he's here. after several false alarms, our new son finally decided to join us out in the world (we told him if he wasn't out before monday, he wouldn't get presents).
jai thalen barlow was born at 6:55 pm manila time on december 21. he was only about three quarters of zeb's birth weight, coming in at seven pounds and 4 ounces, standing up (if he could) at 19.5 inches. here're some photos:
zeb came to visit us in the hospital and he was amused by jai for about 12 seconds total. everything else was more interesting.

yeah, it is a third world country, but even they don't allow dogs in the hospital... so, no mika.
