coffee break
it's first period of the first day of the new school year. i'm trying to get myself organized for the students who will be showing up next period for my genesis class. third period will be my first go at the theology class i worked on all summer. i've got a good group of students, so it should be fairly enjoyable.
melissa and zeb got on a plane yesterday and left for the states for a month. it's weird not having them in the house - it seems so big and empty now. i'm not inspired to cook for just me, so i'll have to find some friends to have over to nosh.
i was reading 1 corinthians this morning before school started. paul says there and other places that we were called by God, chosen by Him for a purpose. it's like being a draft pick. God recruited me to be here now. out of the entire available human race, God personally picked me to be in manila at this moment teaching the next generation of missionaries and workers for Him. that's neat.

School's started already? Wow. So much has happened in what's seemed like so little time.
Hey, do you want free hosting for your domain name? You could put this blog on the package that I have. Heck, you could put the Faith site on there, it would beat a measly 40KBps dsl uplink and servers circa 1903.
