our new and venomous pet??

i had a conversation by text with my wonderful husband this morning, it went something like this...

j: come to school, i have a snake for the boys habitat.
m: ok. is it venomous?
j: pretty sure, no
m: um, ok?

so, a hesitant mum and a very excited zeb headed up to faith academy to pick up the snake. isaac, one of jon's bible study guys, had caught a snake just for zeb and was in the class that jon was teaching. we went into the class and as soon as zeb saw the snake: it was named and a giant bear hug was given to isaac.

zeb's behavior today....incredible, my behavior...a bit horrible.. after talking with two people at school, we aren't sure if the snake is venomous or not...is it a brown tree snake or an immature cobra?

next step? to get another pet, that may be handled without fear of dying and explain to zeb why "jerry" is not an adequate pet to keep in our house. oh the adventures of boys...and this is just the beginning!
