done and getting done

last week was a very happy time in p26-b, my little classroom. on friday, we burnt a few cd's and printed lots of pages and sent the 2006 yearbook to press. many long hours went into getting the book just right. the editors and i had more than a few headaches in trying to get it all in on time. but it's done. except for a few pages covering events later in the year (like the banquet tomorrow), we finished 208 pages of glorious book that will come out before the end of the school year - which doesn't often happen in this country.

now the current project is the spring musical. two weeks from now we will be putting on into the woods, a full-blown musical with a cast of 40 and a 20-piece orchestra. i am in charge of the 6 person tech crew working on lights and sound and the 12 person stage crew building the set and running the show behind the scenes. we have two very busy weeks ahead of us, so we're hoping for some supernatural endurance to get us through.
