our new and now dead pet

so thursday night when jon was dormsitting, mor mor (jon's mum) and i are sitting watching american idol. with a scratch, scratch, scratch, mor mor jumps from her seat and comes to sit next to me when i tell her that was our pet.  after 15 minutes or so we hear a snap.  the door to our live pest trap has closed....and a beady eyes are staring back at mor mor and i.  i jump up on the chair for fear of it some how getting out... then i decided i was going to be a brave and kill it. so with mor mor's  and ate roses help, we filled a bucket with water and stick our beady eyed rat into the water... 

the trap is still out with bait, but in three days...no new pets!! yippee!!
